Montessori Center for the Child provides a nurturing educational experience. The Montessori classroom is a "prepared environment" that provides the tools and the atmosphere for learning. To find out more about the programs offer, visit the Programs page. The first step to enrollment for any of our programs is to submit an application to 122 N. Courthouse Rd., Richmond, VA 23236.

Tuition:
Montessori Center for the Child offers a quality Montessori education at an affordable rate for Richmond families. In order to help keep tuition rates low, each family is required to donate twenty hours of their time to the school over the course of the year. This helps build a stronger community and provides a sense of pride in each child whose parent contributed to the well being of the school.

Payment Schedules:
Montessori Center for the Child allows four types of payment schedules to offer families the most flexibility in their tuition payment. The full year's tuiton can be paid at the beginning of the summer with an eight percent discount, or at the beginning of the school year with a four percent discount. The normal tuition can be paid in three installments as specified in the table below. We also have a monthly payment program that can be used; however, there is a ten dollar a month surcharge on the payment. Please keep in mind that after enrolling your child at MCC, you are liable for the full year's tuition amount, even if your child drops out mid-year. The overhead costs of the school do not necessarily increase or decrease with the number of students enrolled.

Friday Aftercare:
The primary programs do not include school for non-elementary children on Friday's after 12:00. However, we do offer Friday aftercare until 3:15 for primary students at a yearly flat rate of $490.

Sibling Discounts:
MCC is happy to provide a 10% sibling discount off of the tuition rate for all younger siblings of a currently enrolled student. The discount is applied to the last tuition payment.
